PROFIBUS PA Hardware Design (H1-4W)
The PROFIBUS PA/Foundation Fieldbus Hardware Design Package includes the schematics and development documentation etc. for a small size universal fieldbus interface. It provides fieldbus functionality for separately powered field devices. The H1-4W design separates the I.S. fieldbus from the non-I.S. application hardware and allows for explosionproof devices to be connected to an I.S. fieldbus segment.

A powerful internal CPU and substantial resources to integrate complex PROFIBUS PA profiles or LAS function for Foundation Fieldbus are main features. The Medium Attachment Unit (MAU) is implemented as a discrete circuit, which allows to replace the discontinued SIM1 and μSAA22Q ASICs with standard components.
